By my Grandma / Instalation

An installation inspired by my grandmother, who for decades has been gathering frames with copies of known and unknown paintings, academic painters of the 19th and 20th centuries.
With the growing images / years, she changed and enriched the wall with other pieces.
The measure of kitsch and chaos has given me the idea of creating four-plane planes. Using the motifs of the original paintings, which I covered with a minimalist black drawing I tried to achieve the maximum contrast.

Instalace inspirovaná mou babičkou, která po desetiletí shromažďovala rámy s kopiemi známých i neznámých obrazů, akademických malířů 19. a 20. století.

S přibývajícími obrazy/roky, měnila a obohacovala stěnu o další kousky.

Míra kýče a chaosu, mi vnukla nápad na vytvoření instalace o čtyrech časových rovinách, s využitím úhlavních motivů, původních obrazů, které jsem zakryl minimalistickou černou kresbou a snažil se tím docílit maximálního kontrastu.
